What we know about local houses
Older houses, hard water, wet basements
Much of Zanesville was built before 1960, and the heating shows it: cast-iron boilers and radiators that outlast three furnaces, ducts squeezed in after the fact, and basements that want a sump pump every spring. Out in the county, hard well water scales water heaters and shortens their life.
